FlowCARE Catheter Storage
Reduce the most-common hospital-acquired infection with smart storage.
According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), about one in 31 hospital patients has at least one healthcare-associated infection (HAI) on a given day. And, of all of the HAI’s that exist, catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI’s) are the most common hospital-acquired infection (HAI) in the United States.
In looking at data and reporting from The Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy, CAUTI’s amount to around $30 million in costs per year. While clean insertion and removal can certainly help lower the risk of these infections, there’s something else to consider — the right catheter storage.
