The Creation of FlowCARE’s Catheter Cabinets
A cabinet isn’t just a cabinet in the healthcare world. It has to maximize space, it has to be designed for the people who will use it the most, and it has to be able to be easily cleaned and sterilized. Our storage solutions are created with this in mind.
It all started in a hospital in St. Louis…
The team at the St. Louis hospital wanted us to create a new hybrid, non-pass-through cabinet. Not only did they want our pull-out/tilt-down basket and shelf system that our Nurse Servers have, they wanted to add in pull-out catheter racks that could be placed on adjustable shelves. Thus, the Catheter Cabinet was created.
Our Catheter Cabinets feature adjustable internal components such as trays, baskets, catheter hooks, shelves, pull-out racks, and boxed storage so that you can modify as your needs and packaging sizes change.
Our Catheter Cabinets can also be created in laminate, painted steel, stainless-steel, and 100% solid surface. Our cabinets are built to healthcare standards, so there are no exposed edges and have aluminum-framed glass doors to maintain the best hygiene standards possible. Our stainless-steel cabinets are non-porous, which means that germs, viruses, and bacteria cannot grow within, which can lessen risk for infection.
Our cabinets also have lock options for touchpads, digital locks, and integrated proxy readers to support badge ID access for expensive equipment and supplies.
We thank the amazing team at the St. Louis hospital for their ingenuity and unparalleled feedback to help create a solution that solves common problems in the healthcare industry.
